Our feet are one of the most neglected parts of our bodies seeing as it is unseen with it hidden with our footwear. While taking care of our feet is considered for some as a waste of time, it can affect how we present ourselves. Keeping our feet in good condition is just as important as grooming our fingernails. In this article we will give you some tips to beautiful looking feet.

When wearing open shoes or when in our bare feet, their state can affect our presentation. It is a must to give our feet the same attention we would show our hands.
Grooming our toenails is more convenient than preparing our fingernails since we can expense the use of both our hands. There are no excuses for leaving your feet scruffy other than sheer laziness.

Keep your toes clean and tidy by clipping them when they become too long but be cautious when cutting them too much as this could result in unwanted ingrown toenails that can be extremely painful.

Avoid cutting your toenails too short but, don’t leave them too long either. Toenails that are too long can damage both your feet and your shoes, especially when wearing closed and tight footwear. You might end up with damaged and disgusting toenails and, you wouldn’t want that.
File your toenails to keep them tidy but be careful and file them from the edge going to the center of the nail the same way you would on a fingernail to prevent them from cracking or worse: breaking apart.

Keep your feet soft and moisturized by soaking them in a bowl of warm water. Do this before giving yourself a pedicure to get your cuticles soft and ready. Before going to bed, apply moisturizer or lotion on your feet.

Nobody wants to see or have crusty feet. Without properly moisturizing your feet, the dry skin on your heels could harden and build up. If you are someone who likes to walk around barefoot all the time, then you need to take extra care of our feet as feet that’s almost always barefoot tend for hard skin to build upon their heels.

It is possible to still remove the extra build-up of hard skin from your heels by soaking them in warm water and the use of pumice.

You can also sand away the hard skin by purchasing inexpensive heel preparation tools from body shops, as an alternative to soaking in warm water. Misuse of these tools could accidentally give your feet wounds and cause it to bleed. As much as possible, prevent this from happening as an infection could be underway.

Having beautiful and healthy feet can make you feel better about yourself. Being able to take care of your body means you are self-sufficient and, this ensures a better quality of life. Feet aren’t just merely feet. They can take you to places and help you function daily. A little pedicure would go a long way for your presentation. Steer clear of neglecting your tippy-toes so they can help propel you to tip-top shape!
